Recruitment Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”)
Data privacy is of high importance to Soundtrack Technologies Sweden AB (“Soundtrack”, "we", "our" and "us") and we want to be open and transparent with our processing of your personal data. This Privacy Notice describes how we handle and protect your personal data in connection with Soundtrack’s recruiting processes. This Privacy Notice only applies to the personal data of job applicants and potential candidates for employment. It does not apply to our employees, contractors or customers, or other personal data that Soundtrack collects for other purposes.
We will process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice, unless such processing conflicts with the requirements of applicable law, in which case, applicable law will prevail.
We may make changes to this Privacy Notice from time to time, so please visit this Policy Notice regularly to keep up-to-date. We will post any changes to our Privacy Notice on this page. This Privacy Policy, version 1.0, was last updated on October 1, 2018.
Who is the controller of your personal data?
The company that you apply for a job at will be the Controller of your data. In Sweden, this is Soundtrack.
What type of data do we process?
We process the data and information you provide us in connection with your application to us, e.g. contact information such as name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number and date of birth. It also includes information that we receive in connection with your application, such as your CV, personal/cover letter, referees or recruitment documentation, such as interview notes and test results.
Soundtrack has the policy of not requesting sensitive information from applicants. So please, do not leave sensitive data, e.g. racial/ethnic origin, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union movement membership, health or sexual orientation when submitting your application to us.
Where do we store your data?
The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable laws.
For transfers outside the EEA, SYB will among other things use Standard Contractual Clauses as safeguards for countries without adequacy decision from the European Commission.
Who has access to your personal data?
Only the persons involved in recruitment processes at Soundtrack have access to your personal data. However, third party services can be used in the recruitment process to meet Soundtrack's commitments to you.
What is the legal ground for process of your personal data?
The legal ground for processing your personal data is based on your consent when you submit your application to us.
Why do we process your personal data?
Your data will be used for the purpose of assessing your application, checking your credentials and verifying your data. We will also use your information to provide answers to your application and call for an interview if your profile fits for an available job opening.
If you are offered a position, we will also use your personal data for the purpose of preparing and concluding employment documents.
How do we process your data?
We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect your data from e.g. loss, manipulation or unauthorized access. We continuously adapt our security measures to ongoing technical developments. We will keep your data for 3 years from when the data was last handled within our recruitment process or until you withdraw your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data at any time.
Your rights and how to contact us
You are entitled to contact us to access the personal information that is registered about you. If they are incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you may request that the information be updated, rectified or deleted. In order to update, rectify or delete any information that we have about you or otherwise to utilize any of your rights set out above, please contact us. You also have the right to turn in a complaint to a supervisory authority.
